Women Business Mentoring project geared to encouraging female entrepreneurship and supporting successful business development amongst women and vulnerable groups, as part of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH wider economic development programme.
ICE was involved in setting up networks of female entrepreneurs within selected target municipalities in West and South Libya, with the aim of enabling women who were already working in the private sector/running their own businesses to act as mentors for emerging female entrepreneurs. The project involved designing and implementing a 3 day development programme in vertical and horizontal mentoring, business coaching and networking, to provide the necessary knowledge and tools for participants to establish and maintain those networks within Libya. Following the programme consulting services were provided for the mentors for a period of up to four months.
This programme was developed and delivered during the Covid-19 lockdown period.
