Background

UKTI led a trade mission to Peru, providing the opportunity for ICE to participate and commence discussions with the British Council and Peruvian Chamber of Commerce to explore the potential of stimulating and enabling collaborations between UK and Peru.

New Insights into Enterprise & Entrepreneurship

Discussions led to identifying potential opportunities relating to enterprise and entrepreneurship in the creative and cultural sector, with a particular emphasis on supporting women in the textiles sector to take advantage of new markets and potential collaborations.

Impact

The potential for exciting collaborations between Peru, UK and potentially Spanish speaking European countries,  emerged through early discussions and further work is now being completed to develop initial ideas into a full Knowledge Exchange Programme.
